How do I shave my dog?

I have been grooming our labradoodle and our other dogs for a year now. I have andis animal clippers, a number 10 blade, and a bunch of different length attachments. I know how to do the sanitary areas, his face and a body trim, but now I want to really shave the rest of him for summer and not end up with a pink hairless freak-dog.
