Question for people against animal cruelty and that?

Now I know tons of people say “don’t wear fur!”, especially some celebrities, but then you turn around and see them with leather shoes, bags, and even pants now. I’m not talking about ‘pleather’ either.

Am I missing something here? the last time I heard leather was worse since it was the actual skin and not just the shaved fur. So?
